This project, in partnership with the Office of Cong. Kiko Benitez and the Embassy of the United States of America – Regional English Language Office (RELO), is simultaneously conducted in the five cities and municipalities of the 3rd District of Negros Occidental, including Bacolod City.

The primary objective of the initiative is to fortify the competencies of teachers and instructional leaders, recognizing the imperative need to adapt to the 21st Century’s technological advancements. The educational landscape has witnessed suboptimal results in various international assessments in the Philippines, prompting a strategic response to bridge the gap.

The workshop focuses on two key areas: Differentiated Instruction and Technology Integration. Workshops on differentiated Instruction will help public school teachers to customize activities based on students’ unique qualities.

Participants will gain a toolkit of strategies to seamlessly implement this approach in their classrooms.

The second aspect, Technology Integration, will provide technical training for teachers on the strategic use of technology to elevate the overall learning experience. In today’s digital age, incorporating technology is crucial for fostering critical thinking skills and motivating students to become strategic learners.

This game-changing initiative will provide educators with the tools they need to navigate the digital era successfully. It’s an exciting step forward for both teachers and students.

Over the next two days, educators and instructional leaders from the District and Bacolod will engage in lively discussions, hands-on demonstrations, and collaborative activities with teaching fellows from the U.S Embassy. The workshop will be an enriching experience, advancing teaching practices and preparing educators for the demands of the evolving educational landscape.
