We conducted trainings on Thrown Silk Production in collaboration with DOST-PTRI and TUPV Visayas at the TUPV Luis Montinola Resource Center in Talisay City.

These three-day sessions empowered women’s organizations, promoted gender development, and familiarized local engineers and teachers with the technology.

We hope this will mark the beginning of a broader collaboration with the community, aspiring to make the facility a hub for silk production, and later, for other tropical fabrics.
