Today, in the joint meeting of the Committees on Climate Change and Foreign Affairs, I am proud to support the approval of the bill conferring legal personality and privileges to the Loss and Damage Fund Board.

The Philippines will host this crucial body after our hard work to win the bid. This will play a vital role in supporting climate adaptation and mitigation projects for countries facing rising sea levels, extreme weather, and environmental damage due to climate change.
