A total of 500 beneficiaries have signed their TUPAD contracts in the Municipality of Murcia and 60 beneficiaries from Barangay Cansilayan have received their TUPAD assistance.

TUPAD or Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers is a community-based package of assistance that provides emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployed and seasonal workers. This program the initiative of the Department of Labor and Employment, in partnership with the Office of Cong. Kiko Benitez, and in coordination with the Local Government headed by Mayor Gerry M. Rojas.
