TESDA Secretary Benitez Joins U.S. Ambassador and McDonald’s Philippines CEO in Celebrating Youth Graduates of USAID's YouthWorks PH Program

TESDA Director General, Secretary Jose Francisco Kiko Benitez joins the U.S Ambassador to the Philippines, MaryKay Carlson, McDonald’s Philippines President and CEO Kenneth Yang, and Philippine Business for Education Chair Ramon del Rosario Jr. in celebrating the 53 youth trainees who graduated yesterday, September 24, 2024, as part of USAID’s YouthWorks PH program.

In his message, DG Kiko expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the United States Government, USAID, and McDonald’s Philippines for empowering Filipino out-of-school youth with the skills needed for gainful employment.

In partnership with McDonald’s Philippines and implemented by the Philippine Business for Education (PBEd), these graduates successfully completed a month-long training across Quezon City, Pasig, Parañaque, Caloocan, and Rizal.

This achievement marks a key milestone in McDonald’s commitment to uplifting out-of-school youth through skills development, with plans to hire successful trainees as the company continues to expand nationwide.
