Congressman Kiko Benitez represented the Philippines in an international conference on the role of Parliaments in achieving Sustainable Development Goals, organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific.

Congressman Kiko shared about the challenges posed by the COVID pandemic, frustrating our efforts to achieve SDGs, but expressed optimism that we can get back on track in building inclusive, resilient and sustainable communities through responsive policymaking, budgeting, and active monitoring of our progress at all levels of government.
