Partnering with the Department of Labor and Employment, the Third District Congressional Office of Cong. Kiko Benitez facilitated the identification of eighteen (18) beneficiaries of the DOLE Government Internship Program (DOLE-GIP) set to start at July 1st this year.

Last June 25, the 18 interns from cities of Victorias, Silay and Talisay and the municipalities of EB Magalona and Murcia underwent an orientation organized and conducted by DOLE representative Ma. Diwata Briones and the District Office of Cong. Benitez.

The Government Internship Program provides job opportunities for high school, technical-vocation and college graduates for three months. The 2020 graduates are set to report to their respective local government units and will be given tasks by the Public Employment Service Office (PESO). *
