A total of 91 beneficiaries in Talisay City will soon avail of the financial assistance package under the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) TUPAD or Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers Program.

The Congressional District Office of Representative Francisco “Kiko” Benitez thru its Talisay Coordinator Bonirose Dajay facilitated recently the signing of contracts between DOLE and the beneficiaries.

TUPAD is a community-based assistance program providing emergency work for a minimum of ten days to displaced workers or the underemployed or seasonal workers in the community, especially during the time of the pandemic. The nature of work is based on the urgent need of the barangay where the beneficiaries reside. *
